Kanturk saw off a strong physical challenge from Youghal United to advance to the next round of the Cup.

The first half was a scrappy affair with gale force winds proving difficult for both sides. Kanturk strung the changes and upped the tempo.
2nd half and were 2 0 to the good until late in injury time when Youghal got a consolation goal.
