Kanturk AFC U15 Girls entertained Kinsale on an overcast Saturday afternoon in Gurteenard.
The first ten minutes were scrappy but once the game settled down, Kanturk began to take control and move the ball more efficiently. After a couple of missed opportunities, including striking the post the girls took the lead with a close range effort from Katie Hourigan.
Kanturk continued their dominance and got further reward just on the stroke of half time when Katie Hourigan was once again on hand to make it two nil.

The girls continued to work hard in the second half and were well on top when Clodagh Nic Carthiagh produced a fantastic through ball for the prolific Katie Hourigan to complete her hat-trick five minutes from time. Massive effort from all 15 girls who all contributed to an excellent team performance.
