Kanturk u18s put in a monster performance on their league 1 opener and were fast out the blocks with Josh slotting in 2 first half goals.
2nd Half Corinthians awarded an early pen that was blasted home. This spurred on the home side and saw them push on for a 2nd. Kanturk were ready to pounce on the counter and a rebounded shot fell to Bazza 25 yards out who pinged a worldy with the outside of the right boot.
Kanturk shut up shop and looked to hit the counter and had a scare late in when Corinthians were awarded their 2nd pen of the day only for Aaron Mccarthy to produce a magnificent save low in the corner.
A great game by both teams with some great football played by both sides.
