Not to be in Banteer this Sunday as the lads went down to a 3 0 defeat against a very experienced and strong Tramore side.
Kanturk had a great chance to take the lead into half time only for a tramore save and got sucker punched with last kick of the 1st half with a well taken goal from a free.
Kanturk came out fighting 2nd half and had a very good spell in the game for 25 minutes until again tramore struck from outside the box from the number 10 who was excellent throughout along with there no 7 who was a menace to Kanturk all game. Kanturk strung all their bench and threw caution out the window for the final stretch and should have pegged it back to 2 1 only to see one steer wide. With last kick of game Tramore grabbed a 3rd. Overall an extremely impressive effort by all the kanturk Lads and done themselves and the club very by reaching the last 8 in Ireland. Well done to Tramore deserved winners and best of luck for rest of competition
