The girls travelled to Leeds Park for a last 16 tie in the Plate Tuesday evening. The first half was scrappy with Kanturk improving as it went on, but the score remained nil all at half time. As the rain poured down in the second half the girls kept pushing for the winner, and were rewarded five minutes from time when Cara Morgan arrived at the edge of the box and produced a powerful strike into the bottom corner. Outstanding effort from all 15 girls in difficult conditions.
