Kanturk AFC u14 team took on Castleview on this evening (Thursday), still looking for their first home league win.
12 minutes in that looked highly unlikely as they trailed 0-2 to a physically strong opponent.
But minutes after conceding Ronan Weathers pulled one back running through and blasting the ball home.

Into the second half, a lovely through ball by Ross O’Callaghan sent Billy O’Callaghan through who lobbed the keeper.
Denis Murphy with a powerful run and shot edged the home team in front.
With 20 minutes gone Ross struck a free kick which was saved but Fiachra Buckley was on hand to tuck it away for his first goal of the season.
Then a fine solo goal from Denis McCarthy sealed the points.
Castleview battled on were rewarded with a goal from a well taken free kick with almost the last play of the match. Final score
